EMMY DOLIN EARNS A TRIP TO THE NHS NATIONAL STAGE IN LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY
2019 goal set...goal accomplished! Emmy Dolin amassed the prerequisite points to qualify for the Hamel Foundation NHS 3’3” Equitation Championship in Lexington, KY. Riding her own mount, Harlem Shake (Harvey), the pair quickly earned 2/3 of her qualifying points in the equitation OF and Flat classes. To gain valuable experience, Emmy then catch rode her way to her other qualifying points posting impressive rounds along the way with some amazing horses. Kentucky...here they come!
Midway through the journey, Emmy rediscovered Harvey's passion for and excellence with Jumpers capturing a 7th out of 17 exhibitors with a double clear round...her fist time ever competing as a Jumper. Harlem Shake is a triple threat (H/J/Eq), indeed !

IN T.H.I.S. & BACK ON TRACK MEDALS
Once again, Emmy and her mount, Harlem Shake, entered the medal rounds and earned two blue ribbons. The teammates headed up north to Ledges Showplace to take part in the 2019 Winter Series weekend.
In addition to earning the pair of blue ribbons, they entered the NHS 3'3" class (for their first time ever ) and earned a second place finish. The second place finish gained them qualifying points for Regionals.
IHJA A FINALS
EMMY DOLIN & HARLEM SHAKE EARN RESERVE CHAMPION IN IHJA FINALS
With her goals set and Perfecta team rooting her on...Emmy Dolin walked into the HITS Balmoral Grand Prix ring with her Harlem Shake and earned a Reserve Champion out of 18 competitors in the IHJA Children's Medal. Poised after the call back, Emmy and Harlem Shake moved up the rankings and secured their Reserve Champion placing among the 18 competitors. The duo fared well the day before with a fourth place ribbon (and call back) during the Back on Track Medal class.

IN PERFECTA FARM CHARITY SHOW EARNING

The teammates took to the road and headed up north to Ledges Showplace for a day of showing in the Perfecta Farm Charity event.
The Perfecta Farm Hunter Derby and Equitation Classic saw approximately 30 entries competing across 2’, 2’6” and 3" heights with the top 12 returning for the second round. Making the "cutoff" for both the Hunter Derby and Equitation Classic, Emmy and 'Harvey' came away with a 4th place ribbon in Equitation.
Additionally, the annual Perfecta Farm event hosts a raffle and silent auction to benefit the Midwest Dachshund Rescue. An abundance of great items were donated including gift baskets of dog treats and toys, tack boxes, wine gift baskets, jewelry, portraits and wall hangings. Exhibitors and spectators were also treated to an Ice Cream Social, perfect for the Chicago summer day.
EMMY DOLIN & HARLEM SHAKE COMPETE AT LAMPLIGHT EQUIFEST I & RIBBON IN TEN OF ELEVEN CLASSES
Picking up from the previous successful week at HITS Balmoral, the teammates, Emmy Dolin and her Harlem Shake, entered Lamplight Equifest against some steep competition and fared quite well. The two earned colorful ribbons in ten classes, including a second place in the THIS Medal.
EMMY DOLIN MOVES TO PERFECTA FARM AND COMPETES IN THE 2018 USHJA HUNTER CHAMPIONSHIPS
Changes are abound for Emmy Dolin and Harlem Shake. The duo recently moved to Perfecta Farm in early July to team up with Kim Gardiner and Mara Kranz-Olseng just prior to the 2018 USHJA Hunter Championships.
Everyone got to work and it paid off. After successful warm up rounds the day before, these two came to play and helped capture a Team Bronze Medal and an overall 7th place in the individual rounds.

Emmy Dolin and her Harlem Shake continue to take positive strides towards their 2018 goals.
Closing out the Ledges Sporting Horses Winter Series shows, the teammates captured a Reserve Championship in the 3' Hunter division and posted terrific scores in the NAL, WIHS, THIS and M&S Classics.
EMMY DOLIN KICKS OFF HER 2018 SEASON WITH A BLUE RIBBON IN THE TAYLOR HARRIS NATIONAL MEDAL ROUND
With her 2018 season debut in the show ring, Emmy Dolin continued where she left off in 2017. Emmy conquered the Taylor Harris National Children's Medal with a blue and went on to win a range of other ribbons throughout the weekend with participation in the Marshall & Sterling Children’s Hunter Classic and IHJA Children’s Medal.
And while she wasn’t busy in the ring, she could be found mentoring her younger barn teammates to Championships in their first shows and posting for The Plaid Horse’s official Snapchat account.
From participating for herself to being a team leader, Emmy’s 2018 season began with success!
EMMY DOLIN & HARLEM SHAKE FINISH 2017 STRONG & ARE POISED FOR MORE IN 2018
Emmy Dolin and her Harlem Shake met in December '16 and achieved immediate success with dual Championships in Children's Modified Hunter and Novice divisions. They followed up with a Reserve Championship at their next show.
Under the guidance of several trainers the teammates moved up divisions to 3' Children's Hunter and 12-14 Equitation midway through the 2017 campaign, qualifying for the coveted year-end IHJA Child Medal at HITS Balmoral Park. They confidently finished the Medal round earning a ribboned placement out of 20 competitors.
Combining an internship for TPH and ongoing ambassadorship duties for The Infused Equestrian, Emmy had quite the busy season in 2017.
After the IHJA Medal Finals competition, Emmy said, "Harlem Shake's ability to cross over into three rings makes him so versatile. He was the best choice for me and this is only the beginning."

TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK (LOL) @ HITS BALMORAL PARK DEBUT
Emmy Dolin and her Harlem Shake progressed into all new 3' divisions at Balmoral Park's Showplace Spring Classic II. The partners showed very well with quality rounds resulting in a variety of ribbons (1st through 8th).
Additionally, this duo competed for the first time in the NAL Child Hunter Classic (6th), M&S Hunter Classic (7th) and IHJA Child Medal (4th). The partners continue to make their mark in Zone 5 and gain invaluable experience.

Emmy Dolin and her Harlem Shake teamed to wrap up the Ledges Winter Series with another impressive showing.

EMMY DOLIN PURCHASES HARLEM SHAKE
Emmy Dolin will team up with Harlem Shake for the upcoming 2017 Zone 5 competition season.
"Harvey" is an imported German Zweibrucker. He is an accomplished small junior hunter, 15.3 hand, ten year old, gelding. His three ring flexibility allows Emmy to go in multiple directions in the coming seasons. Emmy and Harlem Shake will focus on the Hunter and Equitation divisions in the upcoming season.
